Guild Profile

We are a group of people interested in promoting the skills of .....

SPINNING yarns from a range of fibres, including wool, linen, cotton, silk and many others which can be knitted, crocheted,  woven or used for other crafts.

WEAVING and creating interesting individual fabrics which can include textiles suitable for clothing, soft furnishings, floor coverings or decorative hangings.

DYEING fibres, yarns and fabrics with natural or chemical dyes to achieve our own unique colours.

We have a varied annual programme of talks, workshops and demonstrations. These cover all the three disciplines of Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing and many other related crafts
